Youth Success Stories
Since opening our doors in June 2023, Steadfast has welcomed nine young men into our home. Of those, four have transitioned out & are thriving in stable, supportive environments. Here are their stories:
From Graduation to Military Service
One young man graduated from high school while at Steadfast & made the bold decision to serve his country. He successfully completed basic training & is now in advanced training to become a Military Police (MP) officer in the U.S. Army.
Building a Life & a Chosen Family
After spending 19 months at Steadfast, one young man moved out at age 18 into a caring home supported by close friends. He’s now working in construction & has created a family of his own. He keeps in touch through calls & texts, & proudly refers to Steadfast as his second “home.”
Reunited with Family & Finishing School
Another of our youth was able to reconnect with his married sister & her family. He now lives with them in a stable home environment & is completing his high school education with their support.
Choosing Sobriety & Structured Support
One resident recognized his need for continued substance use treatment & made the courageous decision to return to rehab. He successfully completed the program & now lives in a halfway house where he receives ongoing support. He stays in contact with us & returns for visits, reminding us that Steadfast is still a part of his journey.
